Authentic Italian Restaurant in Tulsa, OK

If you stick around here long enough, you’ll realize I love Italian food! This is slightly hard since I went diary free several years ago, but I occasionally make an exception. I have visited Mondo’s Ristorante Italian twice over the past years when I have visited Tulsa. I first went in 2020 with one of my friend and at that time, due to the Coronovirus, we picked our food up and took it back to our airbnb. The food was  so good that it inspired me to want to go back with my family when we all took a trip to Tulsa and then up to  Pawhuska, OK to see all all things Pioneer Woman.

On my first visit, I ordered Garlic bread, Cesear Salad, and Tortellini whereas my friend went with a shrimp dish and a salad. We both loved it!

When my family and I went back, we were able to sit in an eat at the restaurant. They also had a fun window where you could watch them make pizza dough. My niece and nephew loved getting to watch this!

During the visit, I ordered Chicken Parmigiana and it was also fantastic. Mondo’s does a great job in not only making tasty food but in making the dishes look incredibly appetizing.

This restaurant is open Monday-Saturday from 11am-10pm. So make sure your plan to stop here falls on those days. You won’t be disappointed.

Mondo’s is a true family restaurant. It was started by the Aloisio family who’s ancestors immigrated from Italy.  They’ve won an award for the “Best Italian Restaurant in Tulsa”. They use family recipes and I am so glad they do! Mondo’s was started in 1969 and I hope it keeps on going on for many more years to come!

So if you find yourself passing through Tulsa, OK add this restaurant to your itinerary!
